Oh and for all those out there who start shouting ‘environmental problems’ a latex balloon is one of the most environmentally friendly things you can buy. A latex balloon is formed from the sap of a rubber tree, when the rubber tree is has come to the end of its life it is harvested and used to create furniture. A further rubber tree is planted in its place.
And you probably don’t even realise that a latex balloon biodegrades at the same rate as an oak leaf. You will have had more impact on the environment doing your weekly shop!
